Abstract Rust Mug.jpg

Handmade pottery for use in homes and restaurants, made in Bristol.

I make functional ceramics and unique one off pieces using stoneware clay.

My pottery is made to be used and enjoyed everyday - I aim to create very tactile forms which sit comfortably in the hand. The process of creating pots spans two to three weeks and differs with each season; the slightest change in temperature or humidity can alter the rhythm of making.

I’ve been making pots for many years now and I’m still learning more about the craft of ceramics everyday. I love hand-crafted items and love my collection of hand-made mugs; they really make your tea taste all the better. After graduating in 3D Design at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2010, I undertook a 1 year Apprenticeship at North Street Potters in London before joining the collective. Here I trained in production throwing, becoming involved in making a range of tableware for restaurants including Coya in Mayfair and Fera at Claridges. I went on to work at Ceramic studios in both Bali and Australia in 2015/16 before settling in Bristol where I create a full range of homewares and tableware from my garden studio.
